Next Play Now is a fun and free way to compete against others and win real cash prizes while watching your favorite sports teams or, even better, rooting against the Yankees/Patriots/[insert evil megateam here].

You don’t need to be a sports fanatic to have a great time competing in Next Play Now’s free live contests. Just follow along with our gamecast and predict what will happen next in a given game (e.g. Will Eli Manning complete his next pass attempt? Will LeBron James sink his next shot?) for the chance to win big!

In between live contests there are plenty of free opportunities everyday to score real cash prizes: String together enough correct guesses in the Streak mode or nail the daily Perfect Game trifecta and you’ll snag bragging rights and some serious dough!

Q: How do live contests work?

A: Next Play Now’s free live contests are designed to enhance the viewing experience for any sporting event. The contest opens an hour before the game starts so you can make a few pre-game predictions and talk some trash in the chat room. New players start with $1,000 in Next Play Now dollars.

Throughout the game, you’ll receive a stream of questions related to the action (e.g. Will Matt Harvey strike anyone out in the next half-inning? Will there be a buzzer beater at the end of the quarter?). You can predict what will happen and choose how much you want to wager on it. You can also skip questions that you’re not feeling confident about.

The user with the most Next Play Now money at the end of a given live contest wins a real cash prize! Not bad for something that costs nothing, right?

Q: How does the Streak mode work?

A: Next Play Now’s free Streak mode is updated daily with multiple toss-up sports questions. Think you know who’ll win that Dodgers-Giants game? Then put your Streak where your mouth is! If you guess correctly, congratulations -- now just do it enough times in a row before the competition does, and The Streak Stash (a real cash prize) will be yours!

You can only place one guess at a time, but you can guess multiple times in the same day; for example, if you predict a 1 p.m. baseball game, you can also predict what will happen in an 8 p.m. basketball game that night!

Q: How does The Perfect Game mode work?

A: Here at Next Play Now, you don’t need a top-notch arm to toss a Perfect Game -- just a knack for sports and a little luck!

The free-to-play Perfect Game is updated daily with a trifecta of questions. Correctly answer all three to win a cash prize!

Q: How do referrals work?

A: It’s always fun to beat your friends, but if you’re going to lose to them, you might as well get something out of it. If you recruit someone to play Next Play Now, and they win The Streak Stash, you also win real cash! Let your friends know about us and it could lead to some a nice chunk of change for you, which will help ease the pain of getting your butt kicked.
